Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition characterized by the growth of tissue similar to the uterine lining outside the uterus. Prioritizing overall nutrition is more beneficial than focusing on individual foods, as certain nutrients can aid in reducing inflammation, while some foods may exacerbate pain. For individuals suffering from endometriosis, a diet rich in fiber and Omega-3 fatty acids is advisable. Incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts can help manage symptoms to a certain degree. It is also recommended to limit the intake of saturated fats.

LIFESTYLE AND DIETARY TIPS

  • Walk for at least 30-45 min is recommended.
  • Whole fruit should be preferred to fruit juices.
  • Water intake should be increased at least 8-10 glass regularly
  • Herbal Tea– Boil ½ tsp each of fennel, coriander, cumin in 3 cups of water till it’s reduced to 1 cup.
  • Soaked Almond- 5 pieces
