Bell's palsy

Bell's palsy is a neurological condition characterized by a sudden and temporary weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles. This occurs due to inflammation or compression of the nerve responsible for controlling these muscles. To prevent and manage this condition effectively, it is essential to adhere to a healthy, nutritious, and balanced diet. A diet consisting of soft, blended, and full liquids is recommended in such cases. To minimize the risk of choking, it is advisable to steer clear of hard or large pieces of food, as well as fatty, fried, and excessively salty items, which can be challenging to chew.
