Bronchial asthma is increasingly prevalent in society, with symptoms now frequently observed in children. This rise can be attributed to significant environmental changes that adversely affect individuals with lower immunity, particularly children and the elderly. Bronchial asthma is characterized by inflammation of the airways, leading to narrowed passages that cause breathlessness, mucus production, shortness of breath, and wheezing. If the condition becomes chronic, it may disrupt an individual's daily activities. Below is a comprehensive diet chart designed to help prevent recurrent asthma attacks and enhance overall well-being. This plan is suitable for both children and adults. In Ayurveda, this condition is referred to as tamak shwas, resulting from an imbalance of the kapha and pitta doshas. The proposed diet plan aims to restore balance to both doshas.
