Diet Care for Gall Stones

Early Morning

1 glass of water with 1 tsp chia seeds

Breakfast

Veg upma / Veg Dalia / Veg Vermicelli (Sewian) / Veg poha / Veg Idli / Brown Bread Sandwich / Besan pancake (gram flour) / Stuffed Chapatti / Chapatti with Veg or Dal / Curd with 1 Eggs white portion

Mid-Morning

Lemon water/ Fruit / Buttermilk / Coconut water / Sprouts / Salad

Lunch

Mix chapatti / Plain chapatti / Veg pulao / Boiled rice / Vegetable with Dal + Curd and Salad

Evening

Herbal tea / Green tea / Roasted Chana / Sprouts / Rice flakes snack / Flaxseed- 1tsp

Before Dinner

Home-made Soup

Dinner

Mix chapatti / Plain chapatti / Vegetable with Dal and Curd

Things To Remember

  • 6 -Soaked Almond regularly
  • Walk for at least 30-45 min is recommended.
  • Water intake should be at least 10-12 glass regularly.
  • Whole fruit should be preferred to fruit juices.
  • Skipping of meals should be avoided, especially the breakfast
  • Herbal Tea - Boil ½ tsp each of fennel, coriander, cumin in cups of water till it’s reduced to 2 cups.
  • Cleanliness and hygiene should be maintained.
  • Outdoor activity should be increased like jogging, cycling, and running.
