Diet Plan for Patients of Prostate Problems

The prostate gland is present in the male reproductive system. There are many men who suffer from prostate problems, mainly an enlarged prostate (also known as Benign Prostate Hyperplasia or BPH), inflammation and prostate cancer. Enlarged prostate gland is not cancerous and does not raise your risk for prostate cancer. This problem occurs usually in men older than 50 years.
Most men experience trouble with urination, traces of blood in the urine and color change of urine. A diet with excess of calories, very high in animal-based protein could increase the risks of prostate problems.
Diet must include foods rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, lutein, beta-carotene and Zinc. This diet is linked to a healthy prostate. Have foods containing probiotics or quality probiotic supplements which are the beneficial.
Therefore healthy diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, can helps to control the symptoms.

Evening

Plain chapatti / Vegetable with Dal / Salad
