The liver is the largest organ in the body, as it carries out a large number of critical functions like manufacturing of essential proteins, and metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.
As liver is an important organ and infection in it leads many problems related to liver including Hepatitis. It is a viral infection caused by virus A, B, C, D, and E which can result in liver cell damage and even to its failure.
Diet of the patient must include foods that is relaxing and has cooling effect on the liver. Therefore hepatitis diet aims to regenerate liver cells as quickly as possible involving a well-balanced diet and drinking adequate amount of water.
A typical healthy Hepatitis diet must include the right amount of protein, and low fat diet, cholesterol, sodium, and complex carbohydrates.
